Verita Sritana, Ph.D

Chulalongkorn University, Thailand

Associate Professor Verita Sriratana, PhD, a former recipient of the Anandamahidol Foundation Scholarship and the Slovak National Scholarship, earned her BA (1st class honours, gold medal for highest achievement) in English from Chulalongkorn University, her MA (Distinction) in Colonial/Postcolonial Literature in English from the University of Warwick and her PhD in English from the University of St Andrews. She is a recipient of the Gratias Agit Award (2019) presented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic for the promotion of the good name of the Czech Republic. She teaches and researches in Modernism and Central/Eastern European Studies.

Genevieve L. Asenjo

De La Salle University, Manila

Genevieve L. ASENJO (fiction writer, poet, translator; Philippines) is the author of four books including Lumbay ng Dila (The Melancholy of the Tongue), winner of the country’s 2011 National Book Award. Her short stories and poems have appeared in many magazines and anthologies. She translates into the Philippine languages Kinaray-a, Hiligaynon, and Filipino, and is the founder-director of Balay Sugidanun (Storytelling House). She is Associate Professor of literature and creative writing at De La Salle University-Manila.
